Trout fishing in North Norway

My Uncle Knut and I with some trout at lake Svartvannet

After no luck at arctic char fishing at lake Lysvannet, we spent most of the time fishing for brown trout at lake Svartvannet and a river connected to it. They were good size in the lake, many more than 500grams. They were smaller in the river but very fun as they were in strong current. I flicked them out of the water.

Then a couple of small trout in the river. Here's one.

Hello everybody,

I'm Aidan and I'm 10. I love hunting, fishing and football.
I'm from New Zealand and the football team I support is Tottenham Hotspur.
I have caught many types of fish in both New Zealand and Norway.
In NZ I have caught snapper, trevally, kahawai, flounder, crab, mullet, mackerel, blue cod etc...
In Norway I have caught Torsk- Arctic Cod, Sei- Saithe, trout- brown and Haddock.
I don't hunt but I go with my father. We go for ducks, quail, pheasants, rabbits, hares, turkeys, peafowl etc...
Please feel welcome to join.
